LC To Perform Final Shows

After 13 years, 9 albums, and over 2000 live performances, we have decided to take a permanent vacation. After much thought, we have come to this conclusion as a band, without any personal or even musical differences. It’s just that the time has come. As obvious as it was to start this crazy thing, so is the idea of going out the right way. On our own terms.

We also wanted a chance to thank all the people who’ve supported us over the years and have blessed us with such wonderful lives and memories. We are planning a series of final shows in the venues and cities that have been so good to us over the years. We know we can’t physically say goodbye to everyone we’ve come to know, but these last shows will symbolize our gratitude towards all of you.

Our music has always been about life and how we all need each other to survive. Eventually, those of you who showed our music so much love and support became what the music was all about. It has been a beautiful and growing circle since 1991. One we never could’ve dreamed of when we first got together. The four of us have had many lifetimes worth of incredible moments.

We know that some will ask why, and although there are many small reasons, the easiest answer is that life changes and evolves and we have to as well. We need to challenge ourselves and enjoy some of life’s other pleasures. We reached a point where we felt the music might suffer without the true inspiration all music deserves. It wouldn’t be fair to ourselves or any of you to just keep going.

So this is where this chapter ends and another begins. There isn’t enough time or space to say how grateful we really are, and we hope to see as many of you as possible during our final shows just to say thanks.

We also know that some people will ask “will you ever play together again?” We will never say never, just goodbye for now.
